Charlie Sheen has continued his downward spiral. This past week has Sheen go on talk show after talk show, ranting, raving, taking urine and blood tests, and threatening to sue CBS – the network that stuck by him through nearly all his deplorable and self-destructive behavior until they finally had to cancel the show Sheen was starring in, “Two and a Half Men.”
Now even his publicist has had enough. Charlie Sheen’s publicist, Michael Levine, has quit after Charlie Sheen took it upon himself to go against the advice of his publicist and appear on ad many talk shows he could get his hands on and engage in even more bizarre and self-destructive behavior than what we have seen in his past. Levine had said in an interview with the associated press that Sheen is at a point where his behavior is so bizarre that it would be “hard to dignify without seeming insane yourself.”
It’s not been an easy road for Levine, finding excuse after excuse for the behavior Sheen has exhibited, and public is wondering if this self-destructive time bomb of a man will ever blow.
Most people take hitting rock bottom before they completely change their ways. For the average person indulging in Sheen’s behavior, that would have been years ago. Yet, Sheen marches on.
One of the most telling interviews of Sheen’s state of mind and apparent narcissism is to be broadcast tonight on ABC’s 20/20.
